
The Irish driving test typically lasts about 40 to 60 minutes, During the test, you will be required to:
- Demonstrate your ability to control the vehicle safely and competently.
- Perform various maneuvers such as reversing around a corner, turning in the road (three-point turn), and parking.
- Show proper use of mirrors, signals, and road positioning.
- Obey traffic signs and rules, including proper lane discipline and speed limits.
- Navigate through different types of road conditions, such as urban areas, rural roads, and possibly dual carriageways.
- Complete a hill start (if applicable) and demonstrate clutch control.
- Answer questions on the Rules of the Road and demonstrate knowledge of road safety.
The examiner will assess your overall driving skills, awareness, and ability to handle real-world driving situations safely.
